Pivella started as an experiment in pure vibecoding: a small dashboard to help my partner manage her brand-new partita IVA in regime forfettario, with v1 built entirely from the Claude iOS app. Then reality kicked in. Deploy set up by hand on Netlify, GitHub Copilot for new features, conflicts to resolve in node_modules, a couple of "undefined is not a function" and a fair amount of hallucinations. Claude Code helped restructure the codebase, but some CSS and UI bugs I just couldn't fix with prompting alone, so I rolled up my sleeves and did it the old way. Free, open source, data stays on your computer, Italian taxes only. Not pure vibecoding in the end, but a tool I'm proud of.
