Selling chocolate on Amazon is challenging!
The margins on a single chocolate bar are too slim, making it difficult to profit. As a result, chocolate, si difficult to sell and for gifting hasn't been a popular option on the platform. But what if you could share a lot of chocolate to show your love?
But what’s a gift without a greeting card, especially in the UK? That’s why I developed a "make your greeting card" configurator, allowing users to share their love with a personalized card. Fun tech fact: To avoid GDPR issues, everything happens locally on the user’s device. I used a virtualization library to generate the card as a PNG, which can then be shared using native API features. These tools are now used by several advertisers, not only in chocolate industry, but also in hardlines for phones, or for sell Barbies with accessories.
Another cool aspect of this campaign is, theming. The page changes theme for every main season!
